A BILL to amend article eight, chapter eleven of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended,
by adding thereto a new section, designated section six-h,
relating to requiring all levying bodies to reduce the rate
of levies on Class I and Class II property by thirty-three
and one-third percent.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article eight, chapter eleven of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section six-
h, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 8. LEVIES.
§11-8-6h. Reduction of rates of Class I and Class II property
by all levying bodies.
Notwithstanding any other section of this chapter to the
contrary, beginning the first day of July one thousand nine
hundred ninety-four, all levying bodies shall reduce the rates of
levies for Class I and Class II property by thirty-three andone-third percent.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to reduce the rate of
levies on Class I and Class II property by thirty-three and
one-third percent.

therefore, strike-throughs and underscoring have been omitted.
